== Appearance ==
In Shadesmar, land masses appear as lakes or oceans of glass beads, and rivers and oceans as more solid structures. The beads represent "souls of objects" while the souls of people appear as flames. The sky appears black with a cold sun. Spren are completely visible, rather than the typically partial representation visible in the Physical Realm. {{book ref|sa3|89}}
