The Windrunners were the name of an Order of Knights Radiant on Roshar.

They were Surgebinders, and used the two Surges of Graviation and Atmospheric Pressure. The result was a power set that used Lashings. These powers were gained, presumably, by bonding with an honorspren. Kaladin is in the process of becoming a Windrunner;[citation needed] also Szeth has the powers of a Windrunner, but is not a Windrunner himself.[citation needed]

I will protect those who cannot protect themselves.
