When [[Vstim]] visits the Reserve for an audit, he and [[Rysn]] stop and look at the stone as it glows brightly.
During the tour, a [[Voidbinding]] assassin attacks and steals the gem, but before escaping, Rysn's pet [[larkin]], [[Chiri-Chiri]] consumes the [[Stormlight]] from the gem and the thief's [[Voidlight]].{{book ref|sa3|i|13}}
