During the Siege of the Pit's of Hathsin and Vin's Ascension, she assisted Elend by providing him additional powerful Investiture via contact that remained until the moment he was cut down by [[Marsh]], leading to Vin's sacrifice as she kills Ruin.{{book ref|mb3|81}}
