He was a [[Brass|Soother]], who blatantly Soothed everyone he came across. This led him to be mistrusted by many people. They were reluctant to do anything for him, as they were worried he might be Soothing them.{{book ref|mb1|4}} He iswas beleivedbelieved by [[Kelsier]] and many of his crew to be one of the most skilled Soothers in [[Scadrial]]. He helped to teach [[Vin]] some of the more in-depth aspects off Soothing.
