Hello everyone, I am Nightstar The Bright. I really enjoy reading Brandon Sanderson’s books, sometime after I read them all I began editing the Coppermind.
Hey everyone, I died as a normal man and returned as Nightstar The Bright! New Scholar and Arcanist.

Notable pages I reworked
But seriously, I write mostly Nalthian articles sprinkled with some Canticle pages.

! The following text is a collection of the information about Alethkar!
I’m currently fixing Hanald.

Every city has a little huddle of buildings for caravaneers and the likes. Also large stormbunkers to house armies or multiple caravans.sa3 many small villages have a central cistern to catch rain water and filter out the crem. Alethi is used widely throughout the eastern world to make the underscript of a book. Also, lots of Alethi epics, which are famous even outside Alethkar.sa3
Geography and ecology
Halland encompassed the lowlands of modern day Hallandren and the mountain range of modern day Idris. It is bordered by the Bright Sea to the east. The capital city, T'Telir, still sits on the coastlinewb and is a major trade center.wb The Tears of Edgli grow only in the soil of Halland, and later Hallandren. This is due to Investiture seeping into the ground from Endowment's Perpendicularity.138719833

PeopleSlavery
The valley has a moderate climate that is never too cold and rarely experiences harsh weather.wb While the mountains experience cold weather, and few warm summers. The climate in the valley allows food to be grown without difficulty, while agriculture is harder in the mountains due to the cold. Powerful earthquakes are a frequent occurrence in the valley.3483
Slavery is common in Alethkar, although there are many laws surrounding it.
How is someone made a slave...
Slaves themselves...
Slavers...
A slaver must provide the reason someone was sold into slavery when he sells the slave, it is illegal to lie. It is illegal to wear a sword without being a lighteyes. Every man has a slave debt, but he can theoretically pay it off and earn back his freedom. It is suspected by some people to be a shum however, intended to keep the slaves docile because it is an enormous amount, far more then a slave is sold for. Many masters find ways to cheat a slave out of their wages, charging them for housing etc. A master can also always set a man free, or the man can try and escape. People don't like slavers, and so they often choose other slavers as company. According to Vorin rules, every slave has to be paid a small wage, half of what a non slave would receive. sa1 Slave carts, roughly 10 men per. Masters are free to give beatings. Stealing may make someone a slave (Chulls). Although it could also be a death sentence (stealing horses) Many Alethi slaves are sold to the remote, small and independent cities on the coast of the unclaimed hills. The rules binding slavers and slaves are Vorin in origin, and as such apply to all the major Vorin realms. Brands are burned into the skin. Brands are made up of a glyphpair; the highlord's district where the person is originally branded.sa1 Each slaver has a ledger containing information on the slaves, such as how much they've paid of their slave debt, it isn't uncommon to lie though. Prices range from roughly 1,5 emerald broams for a weak or bad slavesa1 to three emerald browns for a good one, although the average is two broams.sa1

Economy
The valley is inhabited by panthers, parrots, monkeys, and crocodiles.wbwbwb The Bright Sea is full of life, including many sorts of mussels, fish, and tentacled creatures.wbwbwb
HistoryCurrency
As with many other nations on Roshar, their economy was based upon glass spheres with cut polestones in their center, known simply as spheres. In the mint, they check sphere weights in order to see if they fell into the proper categories.sa4 The value of polestones, and thus the worth of sphere denominations in their economy, is based around the value of the substances a polestone can transmute another substance into.

State Income
The northern mountains have vegetation that buds out in spring, though it only gets warm for a brief period each year. Some valuable roots grow high up in the mountains.wbwb There are fields and meadows with grasses and wild flowers. The air is crisp and chilly due to the elevation.wb
Taxation is levied upon darkeyes and landless lighteyes over rights to live on the territory of wealthier lighteyes.sa3 If a citylord fails to pay his taxes to the highlord, people are sent to collect it from him, often violently.sa3sa3 The highlord answers to the highprince;sa3 and highprinces themselves are taxed by the king for the right to use soulcasters, which were an important resource in waging prolonged, large-scale conflicts. This is the primary form of taxation levied upon the highprinces by the king.sa1

CultureLabour and Economicsprofessions
People
The people of Hanald were likely of Chedesh origin, due to the kingdom being started by a group of Chedesh men and women. There were probably some Pahn Kahl living in the kingdom., although they had their own kingdom as well.

Slaves and parshmen.
Economy
The new kingdom of Hanald flourished quickly, likely because of the dye trade, as Hanald was the only kingdom in which the Tears of Edgli grew, and also because of all the other products which only grow in the jungle climate of Hanald.

Akanny in the Sadeas Princedom served as a major source of agriculture throughout Alethkar, being the source of a signifigant portion of the nation's lavis and tallew.sa3 Other towns and cities throughout Alethkar are important centures for the production of hog leather and meat, whilst others still harvested gumfrems for their gemhearts, which were used in the soulcasting of meat.sa3 Merchants of 1 and 2st nahn. (Footnote-like in other Vorin kingdoms). Many people go to the tavern: a days work and then an evening at the tavern for fun.sa2
Hanald was also situated on the shores of the Bright Sea, opening many trade routes to other nations such as Tedradel. Hanald’s capital was the prime port of T’Telir, further advancing trade. The mountains of modern day Idris were in its domain as well, and with it access to many minerals, including the only copper mines in the known world. These mountains also open trade routes to the northern kingdoms, such as Kuth and Huth.

PoliticsThe and RoyalsMarket
Alethkar has some form of open market,sa4 though the amount of openness in the economy, that is the amount of government regulation in the market, is unclear.
The kingdom was ruled by either a King or a Queen. As the Idrian Royal family does this it can be assumed that the eldest child, be it man or woman, inherits the throne.wb The first ruler was Vo’s wife, who became Queen of Hanald after his death.wb Shortly before his death he impregnated her, starting the royal line of Hanald, the people of this line would rule Hanald for the next three hundred years.

Foreign Trade
Those of the royal family who either ruled or were potential heirs had the Royal Locks: hereditary hair that changes color according to the bearer's emotional state, at their will, or not at all when the bearer uses training and discipline to suppress the changes.wbwb Those with the Royal Locks can also grow them when they want to, and this feels to them as if they were using a physical muscle.wb
Through trade treaties, they are able to trade with Jah Keved for cheap.sa3 As of the True Desolation, Fen Rnamdi held administration over trade and supply, as one of the stipulations in the coalition of monarchs.sa3

Architecture
The servants of Hanald’s kings were killed when the kings died so they could serve in the afterlife.
Streets run east to west and doorways face away from the Origin bcs highstorms.sa2
Infrastructure
Alethkar has poor transport infrastructure, making travel and resource movement between distant cities slow and cumbersome.cite This increases the important of soulcasters to their economy and military.cite

The aquisition of Oathgates after the Battle of Narak greatly assisted in trade across the continent.sa3
The royal family turned their attention to the development of Awakening. And with help of the Five Scholars Hanald quickly became a powerhouse in the use and development of awakening commands.
