The people of Hanald were likely of [[Chedesh]] origin, due to the kingdom being started by a group of [[Chedesh]] men and women. There were probably some Pahn Kahl living in the kingdom., although they had their own kingdom as well.
The royal family turned their attention to the development of [[Awakening]]. And with help of the [[Five Scholars]] Hanald quickly became a powerhouse in the use and development of awakening commands.
