Vastworms resemble giant worms, and are covered cilia-like hairs and black and white spots. They are several kilometers long, and will devour entire ships.{{book ref|sky4|27}} A vastworm's throat is about twelve meters in diameter, and the inside is covered in long green tendrils. The tendrils are capable of draining a [[starfighter]]'s shield with a single touch. The throat forms a long continuous tunnel throughout its body, and it's rear end has a large opening like its mouth.{{book ref|defiant|28}} |
