Block appeal[edit]

Hi Traveler1985! I got your email about your block and thought it would be better if I replied here, so that there's an on-wiki record (you're still able to edit this page). A quick note on the block not having a definite expiration time: we don't usually make use of time-limited blocks, but that doesn't mean they have to last forever. With regards to the Yumi page, the descriptions of how she sees Akane come from the book and the consensus is that the inferences the wiki makes from them are reasonable ones for us to include, though they are explicitly labelled as unconfirmed. Removing passages about (potentially) queer characters isn't all that common, but it has happened plenty of times before; our experience has been that people who do so generally aren't here in good faith and the standard practice is to block them and move on. I can understand thinking those paragraphs should be removed from Yumi's page though, since her sexuality isn't directly confirmed; if you want to contribute to the Coppermind and can confirm you won't remove such information unless there's consensus to do so, then I'd see no problems with lifting the block on your account. --Stargazer (talk) 00:50, 29 March 2024 (UTC)
