This page is worth being separate from the Radiant page. These have to do with the magic, while the Radiants are also an organization. Please do not move or change to a redirect. As more ideals are revealed as the series goes on, it will be worth it to have an article already in place. --Windrunner (talk) 22:46, 9 November 2012 (UTC)

According to WoR, not every order has the same number of Ideals.

As mentioned in the introduction, Lightweavers hold only to the First Ideal. Shallan's experience with Pattern appears to agree with this - her progression seems to be related to her knowledge of herself, like her gaining the ability to soulcast when she admitted that she killed her father. So if there are 5 ideals per order, that's a total of 36 Ideals. So not enough for the 40 parables of WoK.108.162.246.180 02:54, 15 April 2016 (MDT)

The Lightweavers parables might actually be that idea repeated 4 times. --108.162.246.56 23:00, 2 December 2017 (MST)

Ideals in Alethi glyphs
One of the images in Oathbringer shows the Ideals in Alethi glyphs. So that should probably go on the page somewhere. At the very least, the Alethi translation of the Ideals ("javani tebel tsameth, katef tebel kadulek, mehlak tebel mevizh") can probably be put in a trivia section or something.

Nonverbal Variant of First Ideal?
WoR chapter 117 has Eshonai bond the Stormfather and become Radiant without ever physically speaking the first ideal.
