Nem was a member of [[Navani]]'s team of scholars. She examined the black sphere that King [[Gavilar]] gave to [[Szeth]]. She concluded that the sphere was practically perfect and could hold [[Stormlight]] for a very long time. Navani asked her and [[Talnah]] to study the black sphere, including trying to use it to power different fabrials.{{book ref|sa4|16}} Both of them died in an explosion caused by the sphere while they were experimenting with it in their shared laboratory.{{book ref|sa4|38}} |
