Editing Dukar
Spoiler Policy Reminder
Under our spoiler policy, any content from books that are not fully released is not allowed on the Coppermind. This includes any information from pre-released sample chapters, readings, and other comments Brandon has made about Stormlight 5. The only exception to this rule is on meta-pages for the books themselves (e.g., Wind and Truth). If you are unsure whether the information you want to add comes from pre-release content, please do not add it and instead ask about it on our Discord.

⚫ | He is a fidgety man and usually wears a typical stormwarden robe.{{book ref|sa3|i|5}} He is meticulous in his daily task of administering and evaluating Taravangian's tests, always taking care to ensure that the King completes the exams correctly. This annoys Taravangian on days when he is particularly intelligent;{{book ref|sa3|i|5}} however, Taravangian also considers him a dear friend on his less intelligent days.{{book ref|sa3|122}} |

− | Dukar presumably relocated to [[Urithiru]] when Taravangian did to administer his daily intelligence tests. On one of Taravangian's brilliant days, Dukar attempted to get him to complete the test thoroughly despite his impatience with the process. He was reluctant to allow Taravangian complete freedom for the day, seeming to understand that the king's assertion that he couldn't solve the last problem on the test was a pretense. However, after warning that Taravangian was near the danger line, both he and [[Mrall]] did agree not to impose any restrictions that day.{{book ref|sa3|i|5}} |

− | + | Dukar is a dedicated member of the Diagram and discusses its meaning with fellow Diagramists [[Adrotagia]] and [[Mrall]]. He doesn’t wholeheartedly believe in Taravangian's interpretations of the Diagram and speculates that [[Graves]]'s interpretation may have been correct. He is keenly aware of the dangerous situation the Diagram faces after Taravangian's revelation to [[Dalinar Kholin]] about his role in [[Szeth]]'s failed assassination attempts.{{book ref|sa3|122}} |

+ | When the Diagram is disbanded, Dukar wishes to stay with Taravangian and continue testing him, but he is commanded to leave. Taravangian believes that after his betrayal in [[Emul]], the tests will no longer be useful, and anyone remaining close to him will be punished.{{book ref|sa4|i|3}} |
