Shardpool is a non-canon term used to describe a liquid essence of a Shard. It is characterized by a Shard's Cognitive aspect.

Pools mentioned include the Well of Ascension (a pool of Preservation), the Pits of Hathsin (Ruin's pool), the Pool of Elantris, where the Elantrians go to die, and potentially, the emerald pools mentioned by Rock in Words of Radiance.Cite error: Invalid <ref> tag; refs with no name must have content
