Hmmm... that last one doesn't look quite like it fits. After all, the people on Scadrial seem to be the only ones in the Cosmere who have figured out how to really get down.

Sanderson uses the term "Final Beyond" to refer to the afterlife, but indicates that there's a "middle place" as well, where people can still interact with the physical realm. These are "cognitive shadows" and include, at least, Kelsier, Threnody's shades, and the Stormfather.

"The ethnicity of the name should strike you," so Aslydin is probably not originally from Scadrial. She is part of the 17th shard, though, so that's probably how Demoux was drafted. http://www.reddit.com/r/books/comments/2ytg2h/im_novelist_brandon_sanderson_ama/cpcrd4w

Aethers were cannibalized from Liar. Don't be surprised when both books talk about them.

The Heralds aren't originally from Roshar. TRANQUILINE HALLS?

Miles Hundredlives is being influenced by... something. I can't imagine Sazed doing that (though he ''is'' being influenced by both shards) and Sanderson directly stated that Odium knows about Sazed's two shards and ''is scared''. Is Odium doing that?
