The terha is a large quadruped. However, this is likely a coloring error, as terha are brown in all subsequent panels.}} with a large, oval-shaped head that has two large horns or tusks in the front and rounded armor in the back that helps protect the neck.{{book ref|ws2ws|39|review=yes}} Plates of carapace hang from its long tail, with a particularly large triangle-shaped plate at the end.{{book ref|ws2ws|39|review=yes}} It has clawed feet that appear to have opposable thumbs.{{book ref|ws2ws|39|review=yes}}

Terha are domesticated, and are used for transportation while hunting [[sandling]]s in the [[deep sand]].{{book ref|ws2ws|39|review=yes}} Like [[tonk]]s, they are ridden using a saddle, bridle, and saddlebags.{{book ref|ws2ws|39|review=yes}} While tonks are used for general transportation, terha appear to be much more rare and specialized.
