He is easily identifiable as koloss-blooded. Tarson is shorter than average, but will continue to grow taller throughout his life due to his koloss blood. He is in his twenties and has a faint Roughs accent.

Tarson is later seen in the Vanisher's workshop with Miles. He
▲During the [[Yomen-Ostlin wedding dinner]], he shakes down the guests for valuables, including [[Waxillium Ladrian]] and [[Wayne]]. Among the valuables he steals is Wayne's lucky hat. Using the drawings provided by Miles of various nobles, he kidnaps [[Marasi Colms]] at gunpoint. He also realizes the importance of Marasi's notebook (which has descriptions of Tarson and others of the Vanishers) and takes it at the same time. He holds Marasi hostage until she breaks free by slamming her head into his chin as he fires his gun at Waxillium, who then shoots him in the arm.{{book ref|mb4|5}}{{book ref|mb4|6}}
▲Tarson is later seen in the Vanisher's workshop with Miles. He reports when Wax and Wayne have found their first base in the factory, and that the men are beginning to have fears about Miles selling them out. Tarson is present during the heist of the [[Breaknaught]] and stops Tekial engineers and guards from hindering the Vanishers.
In the attack on the Vanishers' lair Tarson attacks Waxillium, but is distracted by the appearance of Wayne. Wayne takes him on and fights him to a standstill with neither able to take the upper hand. Tarson directs the Vanishers to targeting Wayne, forcing him away. When he is next seen, Tarson uses Marasi as a human shield as part of Miles' plan to force Waxillium to surrender. He is killed when Wax manages to hit him in the head with a bullet deflected by another shot. The shot ruins Wayne's lucky hat.{{book ref|mb4|19}}▼
