Thaidakar is referred to as the "'''Lord of Scars'''," which I think is enough on its own, but throughout the book it's also noted that Thaidakar is a Cognitive Shadow, and that he's looking for a way of leaving the world he's bound to. Hoid tells Shallan to say "Deal with your own stupid planet, you idiot. '''Don't make me come over there and slap you around again.'''" I don't think there's really much room for it to be anyone else. |

Not chapter five, it's just the fifth citation. If you click on the 5, it shows RoW Chapter, which 115 HEAVILY implies it. Thaidakar is referred to as the "Lord of Scars," which I think is enough on its own, but throughout the book it's also noted that Thaidakar is a Cognitive Shadow, and that he's looking for a way of leaving the world he's bound to. Hoid tells Shallan to say "Deal with your own stupid planet, you idiot. Don't make me come over there and slap you around again." I don't think there's really much room for it to be anyone else.
