There's always another secret!
Kelsier really wasn't kidding when he said that. Be very wary of spoilers for the cosmere here.

Thaidakar[edit]

Now hang on just a storming second. Where in chapter 5 does it state that Thaidakar is Kelsier? --Niser

Not chapter five, it's just the fifth citation. If you click on the 5, it shows RoW Chapter, which 115 HEAVILY implies it. Thaidakar is referred to as the "Lord of Scars," which I think is enough on its own, but throughout the book it's also noted that Thaidakar is a Cognitive Shadow, and that he's looking for a way of leaving the world he's bound to. Hoid tells Shallan to say "Deal with your own stupid planet, you idiot. Don't make me come over there and slap you around again." I don't think there's really much room for it to be anyone else.

I checked both the Kelsier page and the Thaidakar spoiler redirect and the only places I see a chapter 5 cited are chapter 5 of The Final Empire in the section on the skaa rebellion on Kelsier's page and chapter 5 of The Well of Ascension for his approximate birth year in the infobox. Assuming Alpengeist19 is right and you just got confused by the citation number... yeah that citation is to chapter 115 of Rhythm of War, where Hoid calls him "Lord of Scars" and has Shallan tell Mraize to tell him "Deal with your own stupid planet, you idiot. Don't make me come over there and slap you around again." (referring to when Hoid beat up Kelsier in Mistborn: Secret History). As for the implication that Thaidakar is a Cognitve Shadow, that comes from Mraize's comment in chapter 82 of Rhythm of War that "Our master, Thaidakar, has an ... affliction similar to that of the Heralds." I think the consensus was that it's clear from chapter 115, but I'll go add that second citation too somewhere.
