I feel that was a valid interpretation of that illustration. We don't know the specifics of the curse that Tress was going to be subjected to but Charlie's obviously transformed him into a rat. All the other surrounding Aons most likely deal with what the curse transforms one into and the criteria and restrictions on breaking/fulfilling it.
