Talenel is the only Herald to die in the Last [[Desolation]], he is abandoned by the other Heralds when they choose to walk away rather then return the place of torment that they are trapped in between [[Desolation]]s. At the end of the Way of Kings he appears at the gates of [[Kholinar]] dazed and confused, warning of a new Desolation,and promptly collapses
