Megan and David escape through the now demolished wall. Tia directs them to a building that leads to a tunnel in a flood gully. They encounter a helicopter enin route and David shoots it down but falls off the cycle, but is protected from serious harm by his jacket. The gauss gun is shattered however. Cody is able to capture Conflux, who was tied up in the trunk of the limousine, and told to bring him to bolt-hole seven. Megan and David almost escape, but their cycle is blasted by gunfire and crashes.
