He grills a steak - a rarity in the world of the ReckonersEpics - but fails to fully enjoy it due to visions of the past, and of the friends that he betrayed. He repeats the phrase "You made your choice". Ultimately, he vomits up the steak, and realizes that he is worse than lifeforceLifeforce: For while lifeforceLifeforce is building something good in Lux, Brigand is only looking out for himself.
