[[Syl]] is one of the original [[honorspren]] created by Stormfather prior to the [[Recreance]].{{book ref|sa3|108}} Perhaps because of this, he seems to adore her above all his other children, and takes care that she's not harmed.{{book ref|sa2|32}} While she calls him her father, she's also clearly frustrated with how overprotective he can be, and canwill argue with him over what she is and isn't allowed to do.{{book ref|sa2|84}} Unlike other honorspren, she has no problem disobeying his wishes.{{book ref|sa2|95}}
