Stormfather is the creator of the modern [[honorspren]], a duty that was bestowed upon him by [[Honor]] shortly before the latter's death. Following the [[Recreance]], where almost all of them have been killed, he stopped doing so; however, he would eventually create ten of them, which would eventually create others, leading to the resurgence of the race.{{book ref|sa3|108}}
