During the Space Age Of The [[Cosmere]] Scadrian Research (Space)ships have a piece of technology inside them called a steel mind. The Steel mind is capable of giving a status report. This steel mind is awakened (though it is unclear through what method). It's also unclear if this Steel mind has anything to do with Feruchemy.
