The current ebook version never describes any hungerspren as black. They are always brown, even the time they are compared to flies around rotting plants. Previous versions of the text did call them black in Chapter 72 but this at some point changed. Therefore I don't think there is any indication of corrupted hungerspren in the books.
(Re-add some text, think it looks better to have something rather than nothing.)
