== Appearance and Personality ==
Sah was a household slave at a [[brightlord]]'s manor somewhere in Sadeas land in Alethkar,{{book ref|sa3|20}} within a few days journey from Hearthstone. {{book ref|sa3|10}} His job included serving drinks at dinner. {{book ref|sa3|20}} He had a mate, but she was taken from him and sold to be a breeder when she gave birth to his daughter, [[Vai]]. He gives a description of his life before the Everstorm came:

He presumably escapes along with his daughter during the Everstorm when his Connection and Identity were restored and he was freed from slaveform. He joins a group led by the singer [[Khen]] and the [[voidspren]] [[Yixli]]. They travel to Revolar, a minor city in Alethkar, by the guidance of Yixli,{{book ref|sa3|31}} and captures Kaladin (willingly) along the way.{{book ref|sa3|14}} Kaladin frees himself from his bonds but stays with the group and teaches them how to survive while on the run, and forms a particular friendship with Sah. {{book ref|sa3|20}}
 
After Kaladin leaves, they are blamed for harboring a spy and are enslaved with the humans,{{book ref|sa3|54}} and put to work hauling lumber.{{book ref|sa3|51}} Sah is angry over their treatment, including his daughter being taken away, but doesn't know what to do about it when Khen berates him.{{book ref|sa3|54}} Moash, captured by the Fused, defends Sah and his group from overzealous overseers. Later, he teaches them how to fight, as part of their punishment they would be among the first to assault [[Kholinar]].{{book ref|sa3|51}}{{book ref|sa3|54}} At the battle of Kholinar, Sah and his group of singers assault the palace, where he and Kaladin recognize one another. In the ensuing melee, Sah kills [[Beard]] a member of the [[Kholinar Wall Guard]], and is killed by [[Noro]] in turn.{{book ref|sa3|85}}
