They were among the five members of the Ire that set out on an expedition to try and capture [[Preservation]]'s [[Shard]]. They rode on horseback and carried a decoy version of the [[Ire's orb]]. They abandoned the expedition with the rest of the group when [[Kelsier]] used [[Alonoe]]'s robes to make it appear that she had disintegrated.{{msh ref|5|3}}
Riina at some point in time came into posession of space-faring technology and traveled to [[Lumar]], taking up the identity of the Sorceress.{{book ref|Tress|64}} Under this identity she gained control of the Midnight Sea, utilizing a combination of [[Midnight Essence]] manipulation, complex [[Awakening]], [[AonDor]], and advanced technology such as cameras and tablet computers to exert a significant presence on the planet.{{book ref|Tress|64}}{{book ref|Tress|64}}{{book ref|Tress|58}}{{book ref|Tress|60}} Her goal on the planet is unknown, however she was eventually forced to leave by [[Hoid]] and [[Tress]].{{book ref|Tress|64}}
