'''Restares''' is an antagonist of unknown allegiance on [[Roshar]].
He seems to have a position within [[Amaram]]'s close staff, because he advises the highmarshal to take for himself the Shards that Kaladin had won, since Amaram is trained in the sword and accustomed to plate. Also to get rid of any witnesses, which leads to the deaths of [[Hab]], [[Reesh]], [[Alabet]], and [[Coreb]]—the last surviving members of Kaladin’s squad—and Kaladin's own enslavement.{{ref|b|sa1|c|51}}.
