When [[Nikliasorm|Nikli]] worked as head porter to Rysn, Plamry was Nikli's assistant.{{book ref|sa3.5|8}} He accompanied Rysn on the ''[[Wandersail (1174 ship)|Wandersail]]'' on the [[expedition to Akinah]]. Plamry was indeed ignorant of Nikli's true goals and its nature as a [[Sleepless]]. Nikli presumably used its abilities to escape from Aimia, and Plamry's mental state after seeing hordelings in action is unclear. He was recovered from Aimia after the mission to explore [[Akinah]] had been completed.{{wob ref|14555}}
