History
Paladar is among the human population that is enslaved after the singers capture Revolar in 1174. However, unlike many of the other lighteyed prisoners, Paladar is able to exert his influence over fellow captives and set himself up as a leader, avoiding labor while retaining access to food and resources. Ultimately, his goal is to restore his place within the city.{book ref|sa3|45}} He is particularly interested in finding soldiers to recruit from amongst the captives and also holds sway over a number of darkeyed guards and merchants.sa3 The caravaneers captured by the singers work under Paladar's directive, despite their past dislike for him.sa3 ▼
Regent of Vamah Princedom
Paladar held power over Vamah princedom as regent both during and immediately following the War of Reckoning, while Highprince Vamah was in the warcamps on the Shattered Plains.sa3 He lived in Revolar, the largest city and seat of power in Vamah princedom.sa3
Revolar suffered under his leadership due to his greed. Many darkeyes who attempted to travel to the city were driven away, despite holding the right of travel.sa3 Moash, who hailed from Kholinar, frequently visited Revolar with caravans and noted that Paladar's corrupt policies were well-known.sa3
True Desolation
▲Paladar
Old Guff brought Moash to Paladar per a standing order to find soldiers; however, when Moash appeared to exhibit mental problems, Paladar told Ked to have Guff beaten for incompetence.sa3
