During one battle with Brightlord [[Hallaw]]'s army, Kaladin and his squad killed a [[lighteyes]] and were preparing to get Norby to prove their kill.{{book ref|sa1|47}} However, they were interrupted by a [[Shardbearer]], [[Helaran Davar]], that attacked Araram's army.
