[[StevenStephen Leeds]] approaches him as he is leaving his colleague after finishing his shift. At first he was reticent to chat to StevenStephen as a tourist, but is impressed by StevenStephen's ability with Hebrew, and asks him if he's Jewish. He tells StevenStephen that he works the same shift most days and is meant to stop people doing bad things, particularly watching for terrorists. He's somewhat seasonally employed, mainly to make sure the site looks secure during times of large tourism.

He remembers seeing [[Babulon Rason]] trying to take pictures two days before StevenStephen's visit, and notes his strange method of taking pictures; always using flash and not minding if people get in the way, taking pictures in strange places and of nothing in particular.
