It was ofa hooded garment made from a lightlightweight material, and consisted of ribbonlike strips of adark gray cloth sewn together at the shoulders and chest.{{ref|b|mb1|c|75}} Mistcloaks were constructed to come free when pulled, so that they could not be used against the wearer in combat.{{ref|b|mb2|c|17}}
