She has the ability to shield Vathi's thoughts from other beings.{{book ref|sixth}}
Mirris is, like most Aviar, about three fists tall, and has subdued white and green plumage. Her breed, the streamer, is not native to [[Patji]]. She seems reserved towards strangers, both man and bird.
Her wing is probably broken during Vathi's trip through Patji. Vathi administered her first aid, but [[Dusk]] wrapped both her wings so she would't be able to fly. For this reason she stayed behind in the safehouse the night when Dusk and Vathi traveled through the jungle.
