== Appearance and Personality ==
Marthin is a stout woman.{{book ref|mb4|5}} She is a cautious or perhaps fearful person, she did not want her husband to provoke the [[Vanishers]] during their attack.
== History ==
Marthin and her husband, Peterus, attended the [[Yomen-Ostlin wedding dinner]].{{book ref|mb4|5}} When the Vanishers attacked the wedding party, she attempted to convince Peterus to stay silent and in his seat, instead of challenging the Vanishers, but he did not listen to her.
After [[Miles Dagouter]] hit Peterus in the head to silence him, Marthin held a napkin to his wound to staunch the flow of blood.{{book ref|mb4|5}} Peterus eventually left her at their table again when the Vanishers attempted to kidnap [[Steris Harms]] and [[Marasi Colms]], but he was shot and killed by Miles.
