Over time, after being spiked, he began to become less in touch with his emotions, and acted strangely.{{book ref|mb2|7}} While being controlled by Ruin, he is filled with malice and sadism, able to kill and torture with glee. He sees Ruin as his master, and wants to free him from his prison. During his few moments of lucidity, he repeatedly attempted to kill himself so that Ruin could no longer control him.
