[[Shallan]]'s brothers found a pendent with the symbol of the ghostbloods on him after he died.
 
[[Nan Balat Davar]] thinks that he was a contact between the people who came for the [[Soulcaster]] and their father.
 
Luesh died in his sleep before [[Shallan]] managed to steel [[Jasnah]]'s Soulcaster. Nan Balat did not think there was any reason to suspect the he had been murdered.{{ref|b|sa1|c|29}}
 
He was a confidant and adviser to [[Lin Davar]]. He was trained to use the family Soulcaster.
