The librarians are divided into four main orders, or groups.

They sent a contingent to Nalhalla to open an embassy and attempt to negotiate a treaty.

;[[Dark Oculator]]s: [[Oculator]]s that have defected to work with librarians, they often specialize in dangerous, offensive lenses.

;[[Scrivener's Bones]]: The smallest of the sects; known for hazardously mixing Hushlander and [[Silimatic]] technology and using pure-evil lenses forged from the blood of a sacrificed oculator.
