He is the primary speaker during the trial of the kandra [[TenSoon]].{{book ref|mb3|9}} Soon after [[Sazed]]'s arrival in the [[Kandra Homeland]], KanPaar and the rest of the Second Generation lead a coup against the First Generation, imprisoning them and taking control. Later, KanPaar refuses to follow the [[Resolution]] and leaves the Homeland to sell some atium. He is taken over by [[Ruin]], thereby revealing the location of the [[atium]] cache.{{book ref|thoa|79}
