She awakensawakened onfrom the bay in the midst of the [[singer]] army before the battle by sinking into the stone and becoming it, before ripping herself out of the ground.{{book ref|sa3|115}} [[Odium]] complimentslater complimented her on the destruction of part of the outer wall{{book ref|sa3|116}}, and taskstasked her with taking the [[Oathgate]] if the [[Tisark]] cancouldn't destroy it.{{book ref|sa3|116}}{{book ref|sa3|117}} [[Hrdalm]] attacks her with support fromand [[Adolin Kholin]] attacked her, butand strugglewere untilsuccessful [[Renarin]]in joinscutting themoff a single leg, although this did not significantly hinder Kai-garnis. When [[Renarin arrivesKholin]] arrived, however, Kai-garnis seemsappeared to be scared of him. HeRenarin convincesconvinced Adolin to stand down, andas thenhe engagesdid andnot cutshave herhis hand[[Shardplate]] offat whenthe shetime, attempts to squash him.so Adolin giftslent [[Mayalaran|Maya]] to Hrdalm; Renarin and Hrdalm then continued the attack. Kai-garnis crushed Renarin continueswith her hands several times; Renarin was unfazed by these attacks, healing almost instantly with the surge of [[Regrowth]], and was able to keepland hera focusserious blow each time he was hit. Renarin and cutsHrdalm hermanaged to cut off Kai-garnis' legs and arms off.
