He appearsappeared as a small man in Jasnah’s left palm, and meltsmelted into shadow as soon as he iswas seen. Jasnah tellsthen told Shallan he doesn’tdidn't like when she speaksspoke of him as it causescaused him anxiety. She suspectssuspected the [[Recreance]] killed many [[spren]], and that the other inkspren seesaw Ivory bonding Jasnah as a betrayal, although he refusesrefused to speak on either topic.{{book ref|sa2|3}}
When the ship iswas attacked by the [[Ghostbloods]] in an attempt to kill Jasnah, she iswas badly wounded. Ivory helpshelped her move from the Physical Realm to the Cognitive Realm, saving her life.{{book ref|sa2|7}}
