Some time around the [[True Desolation]], on the advice of [[Hoid]], [[Harmony]] reached out to Invention about the threat posed by [[Odium]]. After that initial contact, Harmony was unable to locate Invention again.{{epigraph ref|sa4|24}}▼
Like all Shards, Whimsy was created at the [[Shattering]] of [[Adonalsium]], and picked up by an unknown Vessel.{{msh ref|3|2}} It is not known what Whimsy did directly after their Ascension, or where they settled, if they settled at all.
