'''Ien''' was the [[Seon]] bound to Prince [[Raoden]] of [[Arelon]].{{book ref|b|elantris|c|1}} He was named for [[Aon#Ien|Aon Ien]], which meant "Wisdom" and was used for healing in [[AonDor]].

When Raoden was taken by the [[Shaod]] Ien underwent a similar change, loosing his sentient connection to Raoden. Though he seemed to follow Raoden in Elantris too, they were not able to communicate with one another.{{book ref|b|Elantris|c|10}}
