(→‎Mechanics: Adjusted phrasing for summoning Honorblades. Based on linked WoB and that Ishar is the only person seen to instantly summon his own Honorblade while "skipping" the Blade during combat, decided to leave it as ambiguous if summoning time is solely an aspect of perception. Szeth and Moash required 10 heartbeats to summon Jezrien's Blade(SA1 Prologue, SA4 Interlude 4). Moash notes that Adolin was able to summon his Shardblade in less than 10 heartbeats but is still limited.)
It's unknown at what point the Heralds received their Honorblades, although it likely happened during the creation of the Oathpact. They used them throughout the Desolations until the Aharietiam, whereupon nine of them left them at the site of the final battle before walking away from the Oathpact. At some point, the Herald Nale reclaimed his own Blade from the Shin, leaving them with eight.sa3
