Hoid is romantically involved with [[Jasnah]].{{book ref|sa4|1799}}{{book ref|sa4|9917}} He also has immense respect for her, both due to her sheer intelligence and the fact that, when all else fails, she is, above all, paranoid. Jasnah notes that he seems to think such things as kissing her safehand would spark passion in her, though it is her view that mental stimulation is far superior.
