Hessi is presumably alive on Roshar during the arrival of the [[Everstorm]]; she is a contemporary of [[Jasnah Kholin]]{{epigraph ref|ob|93}} and [[Shallan Davar]] mentions that ''Mythica'' was a recent work.{{book ref|ob|77}} Shallan tells [[Adolin]] and [[Kaladin]] about some of Hessi's controversial hypotheses in the book, noting that ''Mythica'' was poorly received and was hard to find.{{book ref|ob|77}} Hessi herself knew that aspects of ''Mythica'' would be contentious, such as her assertions that the [[Unmade]] wereare still alive{{epigraph ref|ob|92}} and that [[Moelach]] wasis responsible for the [[Death Rattle]]s.{{epigraph ref|ob|103}} Subsequent events proved Hessi to be correct on a number of occasions,{{book ref|ob|77}} indicating that Hessi is a gifted researcher, as she was apparently able to meet the challenge of separating fact from fiction in the many tales and stories about the Unmade.{{epigraph ref|ob|90}}
