Battalionlord Hadinar is described as a "stocky, bejowled fellow."{{book ref|sa3|81}} He is ranked below Highmarshall [[Azure]], but close enough to be one of her primary officers. Hadinar, being trusted by Azure, knew many of her secrets before others, including how the [[soulcaster]] in [[Kholinar]] wasn't detected by the [[screamers]]. He was also trusted with learning new secrets, such as [[Kaladin]]'s mission and [[Knight Radiant]] abilities.{{book ref|sa3|81}} How he gained Azure's trust is unknown.
