Fjorden was a theocratic nation state on Sel.
Fjorden employed powerful priests in order to enlarge the nation. It was a fast-growing empire and, after the fall of Elantris, the most powerful nation on Sel. It also harbored a special hatred for Elantris due to the two defeats suffered at the Elantrians' hands.
