When [[KanPaar]] and the Second Generation took the First Generation captive in a coup, FhorKood and some other members of the Fifth Generation supported the Seconds. FhorKood may have been one of the Fifths that gagged [[Haddek]].{{ref|b|mb3|c|75}}
When [[KanPaar]] and the Second Generation initiated their coup, FhorKood and some other members of the Fifth Generation supported them. Fifth Generation kandra with rock bones and [[Blessing of Potency|Blessings of Potency]] assisted the Seconds in physically overpowering [[Sazed]], [[Haddek]] and the rest of the Firsts and imprisoning them; FhorKood was likely among that group.{{book ref|mb3|75}}
 
[[TenSoon]], in his wolfhound body, broke into the kandra [[kandra Homeland]], and freed Sazed with the help of [[MeLaan]] and other kandra revolutionaries, freed [[Sazed]], who was imprisoned in the Seconds' coup. However, TenSoon washad been seen entering the Homeland, and soon FhorKood and other Fifths came to subdue them. TenSoon held FhorKood down and demanded to know what he and his compatriots had done. FhorKood refused to speak except to insult TenSoon. After Sazed realized that some of the Firsts were still alive, TenSoon threatened FhorKood and demanded he turn over his True Body; a panicked FhorKood relinquished the bones and slinked away. This allowed TenSoon to impersonate FhorKood so he could tell the Second Generation that the traitor, TenSoon, had been captured. FhorKood had contempt for the Third Generation. When TenSoon demanded to know what FhorKood had done, FhorKood simply responded with, "Dirty Third."
